Dreamlight Valley: Season of Scares Expands Halloween and Decoration Sharing

Oogie Boogie quests, preset codes and new building tools are available. Several Apple Arcade features arrive on different dates.

Season of Scares combines a six-week Halloween story with lasting decorating improvements in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Oogie Boogie’s introduction begins with a mysterious mirror in Scrooge’s Store. New quests unlock weekly; players who start the first before November 4 can then finish the series at their own pace.

Starting the event and completing it therefore have different deadlines. You do not need to finish every later quest in the week it unlocks. The prerequisites and confirmed dates are covered in Dreamlight Valley: Start Oogie Boogie’s Halloween Quests in Time.

Share Designs and Rebuild Biomes

Decoration Presets can now be shared using codes. A code remains valid for 14 days, even if its creator changes or deletes the original preset. Presets added to your own collection remain usable. Photo QR codes have a different sharing window of seven days.

Clear Biome can remove furniture, landscaping objects, fences and paths from a biome or sub-area. Changes can be undone before saving. Selected functional buildings and stalls can also move to Floating Islands. The supported list is limited, so this does not apply to every building.

The photo gallery holds up to twelve pictures. Regular DreamSnaps archive entries remain for six months; up to three favourites can be pinned. Stored online-gallery content is deleted after 180 days of inactivity. Players who want to keep pictures permanently should use another archive alongside the temporary online storage.

Gameloft specifies different dates and rules for Apple Arcade. That edition has no Premium Shop. Its first corresponding Star Path follows later in October, while the Event Board and Astronomer’s Journey arrive in the next free update. A feature of the regular shop therefore does not automatically belong in an Arcade guide.
