Dreamlight Valley: Share Decoration Presets With Codes

A preset code remains valid for 14 days, even if you later change your original design.

A decoration design is transferred into another player’s collection using a code valid for 14 days.

Since Season of Scares, you can share Decoration Presets with other players. The code transfers a design; it is not a universal unlock code for every premium item used in it.

Create a Code

  1. Open your presets and choose the design you want to share.
  2. Select “Share Presets” in that preset’s options menu. The interface provides an individual code.
  3. Give the code to the other player and state when it was created. It is valid for 14 days.
  4. The recipient adds the design to their collection within this period. They can then continue using it after the original code expires.

Changing or deleting your own design later does not invalidate an existing code during its 14-day window. To share an updated design, generate a new code and explain which version it contains.

Missing Furniture and Expired Codes

Mirage can display missing decorations as placeholders. If an item is available in the Premium Shop or current Star Path, the feature points to the corresponding section. Unavailable items display a message. The design itself therefore does not replace purchasing or unlocking an item.

Do not confuse a preset code with a photo QR code. Photos have a separate seven-day sharing window. An expired preset code requires its creator to share the design again; a preset saved in time does not have to disappear from your collection.

Clear Biome also helps with large redesigns. Choose carefully whether furniture, landscaping, paths or fences should be removed, and inspect the result before saving. The undo option applies to changes that have not yet been saved.
